Is it worth replacing radiators at the end time we get the boiler replaced?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.35 PM

We are in the process of buying a new house and intend to replace the old condensing boiler with a new combi. We also want to get a radiator fitted in the conservatory where there currently isn't one. What I'm thinking is, is it worth getting all the radiators replaced while we have some in anyway doing the work and before we start redecorating the whole house? I appreciate its not particularly easy to answer without seeing the radiators but I believe they are quite old. Is it more cost effective to get it all done at once? ie will it be cheaper in the long run doing it all together then it would to replace the boiler and then have the radiators done at a later date or does it not make a difference?

getting them all done at the same time would work out cheaper in the long run, plus you know you will have a clean, flushed system with no clogged rads once the new boiler is installed.
