Is there any way to clean cement window sills
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.35 PM
Hello, our window sills are made of a sort of yellowish cement looking stuff which has now gone really dirty looking. I've tried scrubbing but it doesn't improve them. I can't seem to buy a solution to put on. I was wondering if sanding down with sandpaper would work. This would be messy and take forever. Does anyone know of a better and easier way to restore the concrete/cement looking sills back to their former colour. Thanks in anticipation of any suggestions. Pip

Brick cleaner can be purchased at builder merchants, but if your cills are natural stone you need to be careful as to what you use as they can be damaged, ask at a merchants not b and q or wickes as to what products they have.or search for stone cleaner on line wear protective glasses gloves etc.
