You haven't said if cracks have just appeared or are historic but my advice would be to have a structural engineer or reputable builder take a look to assess the problem Regards David

Hello, if you have cracks around the cills its due to poor construction i.e.;straight jointing inside and out especially if you have block work on both skins. If you have cracking on the head of frame (the top), then the lintle bearing is not long enough. Worst scenario subsidence I'm afraid People are asking for an answer from a reputable builder not having to seek an answer from elsewhere.

Hi, Is this a new window installation or an older window? The brickwork surrounding older windows was often supported by a timber lintel, this can rot over the years causing failure and surrounding cracking. If the windows have been replaced additional lintel support or stregthening of the windows should have been provided. As advised you should instruct a Surveyor or Engineer to inspect this and confirm the remedy.
