Is clearance needed between chimney hood and wall units

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.35 PM

What is the minimum gap to leave between a chimney hood and the wall units next to it? Is 44mm on either side sufficient or not a requirement to leave any gap at all? Chimney hood size will be either 60 or 70cm Thank you

It will all depend on the hob size. Any hob cannot be directly underneath any wall unit

There isn't really a requirement, aesthetically it will look better leaving a slight gap I would say. But if the only option is for it to fit with no gap it shouldn't be a problem
