Central Heating

No heat to radiators but still hot water

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.55 PM

Hi, Yesterday morning I had my heating on for a few hours then noticed the radiators where cold, so i checked the boiler and it was totally off. I tripped the fuse box a few times and then the boiler came back on and displayed the normal screen with the temperature etc but still no heat to the radiators. I have tried upping the temperature on my thermostat and it's making the 'clicking' noise as it usually would when it is heating up higher than the room temperature. It's -4 degrees at the moment so my house is freezing. I would be grateful for any help, thank you.

Do you have a combination boiler or a boiler with a separate hot water cylinder

Could be a faulty componet, depending on what system you have. For example the 3 port maybe not be motoring over all dependent on the type of system. Somewhere something is failing
