Multi fuel burner removal
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.35 PM
We inherited a 5kw burner in our lounge. The chimney has been checked and swept each year but after two years, we have decided it is not worth the effort or money. What tradesman should we approach for this job and any approx costing? There is a gas line in the dining area behind so we can have the gas line reinsralled once the area is clear. Thanks Further to the above, will a gas fitter check the chimney and location for a gas fire ?

A handyman can do the job as long as the gas line is not going in to the burner as this will need a gas fitter and I think he will check it as the fire may need to be vent out the chimney
