How many LED Dow lights for a room of 17.5 x 10 foot

I am looking at installing some down lights in a room which measures 17.5 x 10 foot the ones I’ve seen are warm white 9 watt with a 60 degree beam angle. What would be the required amount I’d need. The room area is the living room of an open plan dinning/living room. Thanks

Just a couple of factors which may influence your decision. Colour of walls & ceiling make a huge difference as well as the floor and furnishing textures. In a modern light environment and plenty of natural light I would say 2 rows of 4 spaced with 1.2m between the rows.
