type of boiler for hmo
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.55 PM
Hi I have a 7 bedroom HMO property with 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms have electric showers so unaffected by boiler. Each room has a kitchen so has a tap in it. I have had a couple of plumbers suggest a combi and they said that water pressure should still be ok. And a couple suggest a system boiler. Which boiler would be most suitable? Thanks.

before you go for a combi check your water pressure and volume, have this checked between 6am to 9am or 4pm to 9pm to get a true reading as these are times of peak usage .even if you have reasnable pressure and volume the top taps will suffer from water starvation when bottom taps are in use.
