make a new doorway in brick wall

Hi, I am needing to move the porch door position (for wheelchair access) i have been given a solid wood door to use, so would I be better having a new wood frame made for this door, or get a pvc door and frame?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I would say a pvc door and frame they are better to matinee & have a longer life

I would not recommend PVC as a good match with a wood door .as the furniture required hasn't really caught up . I no there are the composite door companies around but haven' t really seen locks and hinges readily available for this project.what I would stress get a low cut threshold if you do go this route.
