Can i remove tiles in kitchen and retile without removing kitchen cabinets?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.17 PM

I'm looking to replace the tiles in my kitchen / dining room area. These have become tatty, dirty and cracked. Currently the tiles are installed underneath my cabinets. The worktop is granite so dismantling and removing the cabinets isn't a option other than to remove the doors and plinths. So can the existing tiles be removed easily enough without damaging the cabinets?

you can take the existing tiles up, up to front of the legs of the units and then retile the floor up to the front of the legs and then refit the plinths, job done
