Size of Brick Outbuilding allowed without planning permission

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.34 PM

hello, I want to build a brick outbuilding in my garden. Garden size is around 60 Feet in length & 25 feet wide. it’s a 3-bed semidetached house which is 2.5 single story extended & garage is also converted to a single-story side extension. Currently i have a small shed at the end of the garden which i want to keep and build a brick outbuilding. Question is, how large outbuilding I am allowed under permitted development? thank you

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello It would be a good idea to look at the Permitted development guidance as there are restrictions of area covered and heights etc Google the permitted development technical guidance and look at Page 42 onwards. Its not that straightforward as you need to take other extensions and buildings into consideration etc
