Fitting radiator high on plasterboard wall

I want to fit a 920x480 electric prefilled radiator to a plasterboard wall high up, approx weight 12kg. There is no stud in range that I can affix the radiator too, will plasterboard rawl plugs do the job? Thanks for all the replies to my question Ive cut a section out of plaster and secured a batten fingers crossed this will do the job nicely! :)

Good evening,
12kg is a lot of weight to put on plasterboard rawl plugs, I would see if you can find any of the wall that is solid or failing that use 100mm Nylon Hammer Fixing's

Plasterboard toggle fixings are your best bet, they expanded behind the plasterboard preventing them from pulling back through, very strong fixing for plasterboard

Hi, I'd just cut out a piece of plasterboard from stud to stud and fix noggins at the relevant heights for the radiator brackets, put the board back repair the area.

Cut out a piece of plasterboard, put piece of plywood at required height to catch top and bottom of radiator fixings points. Screw the piece of plasterboard back, fill and paint. You won’t see much of it as it will be behind the radiator.
