single oven supplied with plug on ?

Hi guys , I've just purchased a indeset dfw 5530 built in oven , it comes supplied with a 13amp plug on . My question is whether I can plug this straight into a normal house hold socket ? ,it's confusing me . Thanx a lot

All ovens should be installed as per manufactures instructions. Some ovens and hobs are manufactured with a standard three pin plug because they are energy efficient enough to perform under a 13 amp rating. However, if it's plugged into an existing ring final (ring main) circuit it could overload the circuit if other high powered appliances are already drawing from the same circuit (common place in the kitchen).

You can plug straight into 13a plug socket as long as it has a switch so u have means of isolation and easily accessible hope this helps jack new flame ltd

Good evening, I wouldn't, I would purchase some 16.0mm² 6242Y Grey - Twin & Earth Cable and wire it in that way if the connection is there.
