Use combi boiler for heating water with internal pump power supply disconnected

I have an issue with my combi boiler. It trips 2A fuse if the power supply of pump to pcb board is connected. I disconnected the power supply connector of pump from PCB board and turn the hot water tap to see if it still trips the fuse. But it’s working now with pump power supply disconnected. It seems pump is short circuit. I am wondering if I turn off central heating function and use the boiler for hot water only for the time being till pump is replaced. Would that be fine. As the pump in boiler is used only for central heating, not for heating tap water.
