water leaking out the boiler when it fires up

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.36 PM

Hi, we just had a conservatory put up outside the kitchen and dining room, and had to extend the boiler flue up and out of the new roof. no leaks on the roof but the boiler in my kitchen leaks water from it when the pilot is called. we checked that rain is not coming through the neck of the new flue extension, and only leaks when the boiler comes on. We've tried to see were its coming from, but cant see. only wet on the bottom that leaks on to our counter.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I would strongly recommend you invite back the Gas Safe engineer who carried out the flue extension to investigate!
