Serveyer pointed high damp in the internal wall(no rising) and suspected leaking shower,Damp and timber team didn't mention anything about damp,we were suggested to change shower by estate agent.help!

If you do not have a leaky shower or weeping pipe leak i would suggest to check around the windows outside near to the problem. If you see any cracked
bricks or parting cement joints under window sills this could be the cause.

my opinion is that you have an old leaking lead pipe or copper pipe in your internal walls and the serveyor used a dampmeter to detect the damp cause by this leaking pipe thats not fully visible.
