Complete loss of hot water
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.34 PM
I woke up to a complete loss of hot water. The cold water is flowing fine. No leaks because the water meter wasn't spinning. I checked the pressure at the tpv valve. It's hot and has good pressure. It's a 5 month old gas water heater. It was a cold night last night. Can the hot water side freeze and the cold still be fine? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'd start be contacting the manufacturer, it might be a simple reset button on some of the new systems.

yes it can freeze as the water in the pipes cools down when not in use.
