Existing Driveway/Front of House Drainage
Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.36 PM
Recently moved into a property with an existing raised, paved and sloped driveway which leaves roughly a 1m wide gap to the front of the house which, as far as I am aware, has been in place for over 30 years. The gap has very little drainage and surface water collects during heavy rainfall, the path and step to the front door is also raised so this space effectively becomes a puddle as the guttering from the roof runs down the opposite side of the door. I am a bit worried about what effect this is having as I can only see one 10mm diameter hole in the concrete. What is likely to be the best way of resolving the surface water issue without replacing the driveway?
