Can I have walk-in shower
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.13 PM
Hi, I need an advice. I met 2 builders and one said that I can have walk-in shower and the other said I cannot. It's a ground floor leasehold flat with a concrete floor and the way to do it is to do a bit of digging. Could this be done on a concrete floor?

Yes it is possible with your landlord's permission.
If you can manage a step of 3-4" then you don't even need to do that. You would raise as much area as you want up, even the whole floor and use a shallow ramp to gain the height and then use shallow fittings for the waste and if necessary the supply can run under there too.
