Why does the hot water from my bath tap less hot than the rest of the taps in the house?

Many thanks to Matt for his answer to my question in the week. Your suggestion is that I reduce the cold water pressure coming in to the house as a possible solution for the temperature drop-off. Is that complicated to do or is it just a case of closing the stop cock by a few turns ? Thanks, Danny

Another point to consider is the distance from the boiler to the taps. They might need insulating more.
If hot water is travelling through metal pipes it will cool down more quickly as metal is good at conducting heat. If the bath tap is cooler, then it is likely that the water is starting at the same temperature but cooling on it's travels to the bath.
