Bath taps very hot but shower cold when attach hose & shower head?

Hi, My shower has recently turned cold/lukewarm interspersed with hot spells despite all other taps in the flat running hot water. I have fully cleaned and descaled both the hose and shower head this morning including ensuring all the spray holes in the shower head are clean. I have also replaced the shower hose and the problem persists. I assume therefore that this is a problem with the flow of hot water from my viessmann combi boiler? What could be causing this and is there any quick fix or do I need to get someone to look at my boiler? It’s been like this for about a month now and as the weather gets colder I’d really like to be able to have a hot shower!! Thanks

It might be worth checking for any warranty or known problems by putting your boiler info into Google and looking for reviews or known issues. When that line has been exhausted, then it's time to get a plumber inserted. It might be a simple fix but it is impossible to tell without being there. You might find it worth talking to the boiler's customer helpline in case there is just a reset button or a fuse or something that you can poke or check before paying for a plumber...
