minium floor area to house zig-zag stair case?

Hello Can someone be kind enough to advise me what is the minimum dimension for floor area for a zig-zag stair case to access first floor then second floor. Thanks a million for your help. Kind regards Nicki

The building regulations state that, the width and length of a landing which constitutes part of the floor area must be at least equal to the smallest width of the narrowest flight of the staircase. For example if the width of the staircase is 800mm wide then the landing should be a minimum of 800mm wide.
