Plumbing

to seal new plaster but not colour over

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.16 PM

Hello, My kitchen walls have been newly plastered, and I like the colour it has dried to, and would like to keep this colour. But have been told I will need to seal the walls. Is this correct? And what do I use as a sealant, that will leave the plaster colour visible but not so porous? Any tips welcome - thanks

You can use PVA to seal the plaster, usually does create a more Vibrant colour to the plaster though. Alternatively, you could also seal it with a rick sealant.

I think certain paint manufacturers do a bare plaster colour. Hope this helps.
