Smelll of Urine coming from downstairs neighbour

Hi, I live in a top floor flat. My neighbour below is incontinent and there is a really bad smell of urine coming up into my flat, specifically my kitchen and bathroom. Environmental Health have been out and said they will look into it (it's going to be a slow process!) and I've been wondering if there is any way of insulating to stop this smell from coming in? Really not a DIY person so not sure if insulation is the right thing to ask about? Thanks so much, Gail.

Hi
It's hard to tell where the smell is coming from
It could be that your bathroom and kitchen waste are connected to the main sewage pipe
