honeywell thermostat

hi, honeywell have sent me a replacement wireless thermostat as my current model has starting fading on screen. how do i connect the new unit and disconnect the old one?

If its a wireless room thermostat then just simply replace the old one with new then you may have to 're-bind' the stat with the receiver, this process is explained in the installation manual or Youtube it, plenty of tutorial's on there explaining this simple procedure. There will be NO re-wiring involved in just replacing the wireless roomstat! Remember you don't have to fit a new receiver which will be hard wired to the boiler that is normally located near your boiler only the roomstat!

If you have the right tools than you just need to follow the instructions in the letter which come with the thermostat, otherwise don’t risk your self and call an electrician.
