What kind of plaster is usually used on walls and ceilings in a hallway

A typical 3 bedroom house, have stripped walls ready for plastering.are there different types of plaster?

Striping walls back to the brick on old houses ,you can undercoat with browning or sand and cement ,If the brick is of poor quality is advised to use sand and cement to add strength to the walls and finish with multi finish plaster,, If you want to plaster over existent plaster you will need to first uni bond and leave for some time to dry and seal to create a key before your finish with two coats of skim multi finish ,
