Overflow pipe runs when boiler on for hot water in the morning

I have old style boiler and big storage tub upstairs 16 year old. I have set timer for hot water in morning and every time boiler run tub's Overflow pipe start. It happen every day. I tried to turn boiler on and wait for it to see what happens but it work ok and big plastic ball look allright. Any advice and thanks in advance

Ball valve might have a small leak that letting water level get too high, so when water heats up and expands the tank overflows. Get fill level checked ball and the valve.

Cylinder thermostat or faulty programmer switch if the overflow comes from the big cistern.
If it comes from the small tank, is the room thermostat or s faulty programmer.
