Placement of new cooker
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.32 PM
My kitchen had a Rayburn range cooker / boiler up until recently. It has been removed but the concrete / brick base remains (it's about a brick high). I now want to install a new gas oven on top of the base. Is it legal to install the new gas cooker here or do I need to remove the base?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

This will depend if the base is solid and level. So long as the cooker that sits on it is completely steady and supported it is ok
