13 Amp 2 Gang Double SP Switched Socket with 2 x USB

I would like to replace a non-USB socket with a 13 Amp 2 Gang Double Switched Socket with 2 x USB. I've noticed there are "SP" and "DP" USB sockets. I would like to buy a 3.1A USB socket but do not know which brands are of good quality. I'm assuming "SP" refers to single pole and "DP" refers to double pole. 1st question - what's the difference between between "SP" and "DP"? 2nd question - Is BG Nexus any good? 3rd question - can you recommend a good brand for a 3.1A USB 13 Amp 2 Gang Double Switched Socket? Thanks for your reply.

Correct with DP & SP. Double pole switches the live & neutral SP switches the live conductor only. I always get and use DP although the switch does not turn the usbs on or off. I don't use BG I always use MK or Crabtree but it's a personal choice. Don't go for an unbranded Chinese one off Amazon or the like though.
