Fit extractor fan in shower room

NO fan there at present, brick outside wall, would prefer it wired in, there is a single light switch outside the shower room, Could this be used or is there a pull cord variety that does not require electrical connection. Thank you.

Hello. I strongly recommend to contact qualified and registered electrician.
Extraction fan can be connected to lighting circuit. Although shower room is so called "special location" so only a competent (skilled) electrician can install it.
