What are the main reasons for using marine and WBP plywood in wet areas when it is prone to warp and rot? Why is plywood used over tilebacker / calcium silicate alternatives? Can tilebacker be used in the walls and floors instead of ply to reduce the risk of tiles cracking?
May I suggest A fairly new product Hardifloor Same company who make hardibacker board. I used this recently on a refurb and found it amazing. Check it out on YouTube. Great product
