Lift and relay carpet in the same room.

We are due to have a wood burner stove fitted into our living room. It's a must that we keep the existing carpet. The new heart will be fitted and the carpet would need to be cut to fit. Would a carpet fitter fully remove the carpet and relay once the work is done to eliminate any damage that could be caused and relay around the new hearth?

Hello yes you can take up a carpet and relay it in the same room and the exactly the same way but you mite need new under lay and grippers to be in building regs
