How can i fill a fairly large gap between skirting boards that meet at a corner point? Is there an expandable foam or wood that I could use? It is fairly large.
Assuming its a painted finish (natural finish could be done in a similar way, I would scribe a piece of wood to fit the gap and glue in place, a little filler and a sand and it would not show once painted.

SheffieldIf it's a fairly large gap, your only real option is to scribe a piece of wood so that it fits in between both skirting boards. You're then free to glue it in place, caulk, and sand (so that it's flush and smooth). If you then prime the skirting board before painting (satin or gloss) you shouldn't be able to see the difference. Good luck!
