Do I paint skirting before i apply caulk on top? What is the correct order? 1. Paint walls to base 2. Work on skirting – paint, sand, fill etc 3. Apply caulk along top of skirting?

Hello Trac,
The order I would recommend is :
1. Apply caulk along the top of skirting (allow 48 hours to dry).
2, Fill, sand and (prime if required) and undercoat skirting boards.
3. Paint walls from ceiling to top edge of skirting boards.
4. Paint chosen top coat to skirting boards.

Caulk fill and prep where needed leave 24 hours to dry
Prime skirting
Then paint walls
Then undercoat skirting
Then top coat skirting 👍🏻
