Damp Proofing

Liquid damp proof membrane over uneven concrete

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.16 PM

Hi guys, I would welcome some advice on what to get to smooth/cover dents in the substrate. We removed a layer of bitumen and concrete doesn't have a flat finish. Dents need to be covered sooner or later before laying ufh pipes and question is, shall we cover before or after the liquid dpm? I dont seem to find an all rounder solution which works, only levellers which won't cover full depth of dents as most need application to less than 12mm and other repair mortars won't stick to dmp or be too fragile to become structural underneath. Any ideas?

Hi,you would need an epoxy based mortar, they come in two kinds of applications, troweled and self leveling follow links below. These products are costly. http://www.watco.co.uk/watco-flowpatch.html http://www.watco.co.uk/repair/concrete-floors/concrete-hole-repair If you found this helpful please give thumbs up. Regards
