Replacing one single radiator with two vertical radiators
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.52 PM
I have a radiator under my window in my lounge and i would like to replace it with two vertical radiators, one each side of the window. As i only have two pipes feeding the single radiator, one flow and one return, i am not sure how to supply the verticle radiators from the existing pipes. Do i tee off the flow pipe to supply the flow side on both rads, and then tee into the return pipe from both returns from the rads? Or is there a simpler way where i can connect from my existing flow pipe into the flow inlet on one rad, and then run a pipe from the return outlet into the flow inlet of the 2nd rad. Then run a pipe from the return outlet of the 2nd rad to connect to my existing return pipework. I am hoping my second idea would work as it will be easier to plumb with less pipework.
