Safe Installation Of A Douche Next To Toilet

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.31 PM

I'm a little confused about how to install a mixed thermostatic douche safely and legally next to the toilet. I have a low-pressure gravity fed system with the cold water tank in loft, and an ancient combi boiler in the ground floor kitchen. The douche is to be in a WC on the 1st floor. This is the model: http://www.tapsempire.co.uk/ultra-thermostatic-douche-spray-chrome-p-44133.html But whilst I understand that I can pull an independent pipe running cold water from the loft cold water tank, how do I pull in hot water to the mixer without risking contaminating the drinking water of the entire street? Many thanks to anyone who can help!

you have to inform your water supplier that you are going to fit these, they will advise you on what they require, the hose must not be long enough that it will not go into pan, both water supplies must come from a dedicated hot and cold service that only serves the douche.
