I need a bit of advice on re-lighting the pilot light

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.30 PM

I need a bit of advice on re-lighting the pilot light of a Johnson & Starley warm air heating system JWD 32/45. Since it's not lighting using the normal buttons (button with a picture of a spark which I'm pressing whilst the gas mains pipe is open) I'm going to go round to the house with a lighter and try and re-start it unless anyone advises otherwise?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Further to other posters advice the Gas Safe engineer MUST have the relevant qualification to carry out work on Warm Air Heaters, as not all Gas Safe engineers will have this!
