washing machine in the conservatory
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.51 PM
Hi Guys i have a house with an already existing conservatory the doors open out to the side and are next to the wall where the kitchen is and the pipes for the washing machine com out. to make more room in the kitchen i was hoping to move the washing machine into the conservatory however im unsure if i need permission as all the info i cant find is about building regs for building a conservatory? is it an issue to just move the washing machine and get a plumber to sort out the pipework or will it land me in trouble when i come to sell? cheers

there is no law against it,a lot of places do it to free up room in kitchen, you may have a problem with condensation.
