Levelling floors
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.11 PM
Hey all just a quick question with regards to leveling floors. I have two rooms which have uneven floors that I want levelled and was thinking of using self levelling compound to do so. Just wondered if this would be as good as putting a thin screed down and levelling? Cheers for any advice

Hi
In regards to your question, depending on the depth of unevenness I would use self levelling compound if the floor if uneven up to 25mm, some self levelling compounds will level up to the thickness of 50mm but this would work out expensive, so any thing over 30mm + I would floor screed, hope this helps.
