Would a new roof lantern installed in a existing flat roof require rsjs?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.30 PM

I'm thinking of getting a roof lantern installed into a pitched roof area would this require any rsjs?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Size relative is the simple answer. We are installing one at the moment which is 7m x 4m and our structural engineers have called up for 2 rsjs 203 x 133 x 30 to carry the load of the new flat roof and skypod and any additional imposed loadings such as snow. Recommend getting engineers report in most instances.
