Can I use a reduced bore Flexi hose to fit replacement electric shower?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.30 PM

I'm replacing my electric shower and the inlet on the new unit is bottom right and the old bottom left. Can I just use a 9.5mm bore stainless steel flexible pipe with 15mm fittings to do the diagonal, or do I need to keep the bore the same and use two right angle compression joints?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

To get the best performance out of your new shower we would certainly never use a reduced bore flexi hose, 2 x 15mm compression elbows is the way forward
