what trade do i need to level a floor with a gas pipe over the top?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.30 PM

I have recently had a wall removed in my kitchen to make the space bigger but the floor is higher on one side than the other and there is now a groove where the wall used to be. what trade am i best hiring to dig out the concrete floor and relay a new level floor (matching the side of the main kitchen). There is also a gas pipe running across this floor that was previously buried under the wall which will need moving or somehow hiding below floor level. thanks in advance

depending on the gas pipe requirements the trades to do the floor would be a concrete finisher or a fully qualified plasterer. the are some companies that specialise in floors. look up floor screeders .
