Tiling onto brickwork

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.11 PM

Can I tile straight onto brickwork and breezeblock? It is only a small amount behind a sink in a garage, so doesn't have to be perfect, but I don't want them falling off after a week!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes. Brush clean of all dust and loose debris and use SBR diluted primer over area to be tiled. Use a standard cement adhesive for ceramic tiles, flexi for porcelain / natural stone (unlikely in this case). If using flexi, ensure grout is also flexi.
