Kitchen Fitting

Kitchen Refurb, best course of action

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.29 PM

I want to do a complete refurb of my kitchen, it's a small 3x3m room and around 8 units. No gas stove, the boiler will stay where it is, sink will move and replace with a smaller (6 units) ready to fit kitchen from Wickes. Before the kitchen can be installed though, the room needs to be prepared as the floor has some bouncy floorboards (new floor to be installed) and the walls has vinyl wallpaper on. I can take the units down though after that what would be the best course of action? Can a kitchen fitter do the whole lot or best to split the job into 2 (prep and then kitchen)? I was planning/hoping to get the room ready and then once done, get a kitchen installed.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there, If you find a joiner/kitchen fitter then doing both jobs in one should not be a problem. Which also makes the work completed in a more timely manner as you are not waiting for two trades. CT
