Can I fit wooden or laminate flooring on an mdf staircase? Or what are my options if I don't want carpet?

hi Carlotta you can fit laminate or hardwood flooring onto a staircase you need to buy a suitable nosing for the thickness of the flooring used and if you have a bull nose on the step then you need to pack out the riser to suit hardwood be more secure as this can be secret nailed with laminate it would have to be glued to the existing riser hope this helps
