Alarm beeping after taking the fuse out.

I have Optima plus 2.alarm fuse was taken out to check that which fuse is off.after checking electric was far few second.now alarm is beeping.try to put code to reset.but still beebingplz advice me . zafar

Hi, Many intruder alarm systems come with a master code and engineers code which allows a full reset after any activation or others faults i.e mains fail etc, your code seems to be just a user code which only allows setting and unsetting not to reset. It sounds like the system just needs an ENGINEERS reset, please contact your installer who should have changed the codes for you security reasons. If not their are ways intruder alarm codes can be defaulted. Hope this is helpful

The beeping can also be caused by the chime being activated on a particular zone . If this zone happens to contain a pir it will beep every time the pir detects movement. Press the chime button to see which light comes on and then press the zone number to toggle it back of, Or press chime 0.
