Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.16 PM

I have new plasterboard ceiling in my bathroom. I want to prepare and paint it . I think I need to fill in the joints, sand and prime the plasterboard and then paint. Can you advise on which products I should use and how to go about the job. Thanks

Hi, are the boards tapered edge or square? If tapered - scrim tape almond all joints and over screw heads, fill the tapered joint with easy fill ( powder filler 2 applications). Then rub back the filled areas until flush with face of the ceiling and paint. If square edge - Tape and skim with either board finish or multi finish.
