New waste pipe for under stairs WC

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.10 PM

I live in a terrace house and we are hoping to build a WC under the stairs. The kitchen sits at the end of a hallway just after the under stairs cupboard. The waste pipe from the upstairs bathroom runs into the ground which is 3.5metres to the side of the under stairs cupboard. In order to access it the new waste pipe waste pipe would have to flow the length of the new WC (under the floor) and then take a left and run under the kitchen floor for 3.5 metres and then through the exterior wall where it could join the current waste. Does this sound feasible? We could box it in for the length of the WC but it would have to run under the kitchen floor. Many thanks for your advice

You would need to ensure to you maintain the correct fall on the pipework depending on the length of the pipe run. This would need to be calculated first to avoid any problems in the future.

A saniflo would be the best way to go in my view.
