Boiler runs after closing the cold water

I just changed conventional boiler to combi but when I turn off cold water tap boiler starts for couple of second and monitor shows fire about to on, then off. Boiler runs sometime for short period and sometimes 10 to 15 seconds. Why this is happening I asked other friends they don't have this problem. Thanks

there is air trapped in a hot pipe somewhere, is there any blanked off pipes anywhere in the house, you need to release the air from the pipe and this problem will stop.

Your boiler is in comfort mode. It keeps main heat exchanger hot to give you hot water 20 seconds faster. It will turn on every hour or so regardless you home or not. Not that important in the winter when boiler is hot most of the times any way , but bit of nuisance in the summer time. Read the user manual where to change to ECO mode.
